The technique consists of coating the surface of Ni-Cr-Co system alloy restorations with Al_2O_3 or ZrO_2 powders by plasma spraying. He suggested that the bonding strength of porcelain fused to non-precious metal by this method was larger than that of porcelain fused to precious metal by conventional crown and bridge laboratory procedures. We have applied this technique to the crown and bridge and these were observed about for 16 months.
