Applying this phenomenon, implant manufacturers produce implant bodies using titanium materials whose strength is increased by cold working. However, there have been few reports on the relationship between cold working ratios and mechanical characteristics. In this study, press working of JIS type 2 titanium was performed, setting compression rates to 10, 20, 30, and 35%, and the relationship between the working ratio and bending strength, proof stress, and strain of titanium was investigated. As a result, the bending strength, proof stress, and hardness increased with increases in the working ratio. The level of strain decreased with increases in the working ratio.
