We investigated gene expression following orofacial inflammation in the rat trigeminal ganglion using complementary DNA microarray. Up-regulation of two molecule genes, KCNK3 and CaMK II β mRNAs were demonstrated. Therefore, we investigated the two molecules showing changes in gene expression, pattern and quantity over a 1-week time course after injection of Complete Freund's Adjuvant (CFA) to the rat upper lip. Trigeminal ganglion neurons, 3 days after CFA injection, expressed the two molecule mRNAs and strong staining was identified ipsilateral to the injection site by in situ hybridization histo-chemistry. Quantity of KCNK3 mRNA participated in the changes during orofacial inflammation. These data suggest that profound mechanisms are involved in the symptom.}, pages = {269--275}, title = {顎顔面領域における炎症モデルラット三叉神経節細胞の遺伝子発現動態 : カルモジュリンキナーゼとK+チャネルの解析}, volume = {33}, year = {2007} }
