The subjects were 31 elderly patients aged over 64 who visited the Matsumoto Dental University Hospital Special Patients Clinic or lived in a nursing home for the aged. Blood pressure was significantly higher at the insertion of the impression material compared to at rest in some patients. There was no significant influence of posture.
