This study used hydrodynamic voltammetry by means of a rotating disk electrode to examine the corrosion mechanisms of three kinds of pure metals; gold, silver and copper, and six kinds of binary gold alloys. The results were compared with cyclic voltammograms in a statistical system. Hydrodynamic voltammetry provided rapid the steady corrosion reactions.
