 note = {application/pdf, To obtain the diagnostic information concerning temporomandibular joint disease, we studied 92 patients visiting our hospital with regards to clinical symptoms and radiographic findings. Of the clinical symptoms, trismus was obserbed in 42.3% of cases, pain in 86.0%, and clickings in 81.7%. In the radiographic findings, limitations of temporomandibular joint movements were observed in 74.4% of cases, abnormal joint shapes in 48.9%, and displacement of joint positions in 61.6%. In conclusion, serious disorders were thought to be few due to the low frequency of trismus in these patients. However, periodical radiographic examinations are necessary for diagnostic accuracy and evaluation of treatment of these disorders.},
