Although the nonplunging ranula has been treated by mursupialization, recurrence has been seen sometimes. We treated three nonplunging ranulas by a combination of CO² laser excision of the dome and vaporization of the base. No complications were noted and there was no recurrence in all patients during 6-12 months.
