The number of emergency outpatients was 748 in 2008 and 680 in 2009 school year, respectively. The chief complaints were "pain", "inflammation" and "injury" in order, and they occupied 79.1% of all. The emergency patients tended to increase at August and December. The arriving time to Hospital showed two peaks that one was early evening in holidays and the other was around 20:00 in weekdays. The emergency outpatients resided in Matsumoto city (527 patients), Shiojiri city (387 patients), Higashi-Tsukama county (111 patients) and Azumino city (103 patients).
