| 内容記述 | Household electric appliances have become increasingly more popular to consumers. Even telephones are now considered indispensable features of household interiors. Functionally some appliances are even becoming more like humans by means of built-in fuzzy logic computers. The astonishing progress of computer science leads to speculation about the day when computers will even dominate human beings. Likewisel medical treatment is also advancing rapidly. The demands of patients have increased inregards not only to function but also aesthetic appearance. The face is the most important feature in determining the character of human beings. Since the teeth are an essential constituent of the face, in addition to ordinary dental restorations, they must also be treated esthetically. The color of gingiva is also important for healty beauty. In the following review, the author mentioned the relation between esthetic consciousness and the mental state of patients, the history and prospects of dental esthetics, the introduction of color science, the effects of light and color matching in dentistry. He then considered why dental doctors must measure the color of the oral cavity. | |||||||
