| 内容記述 | In this paper a case of radicular cyst with ciliated epithelium partially appearing in the mandibular incisor region of a 76-year-old man is reported. The case was the only one found among 182 radicular cysts observed in Department of Oral Pathology, Matsumoto Dental College. Reports of mandibular radicular cyst with ciliated epithelium are rare in the published literatures. We believe that the histogenesis of the ciliated epithelium was due to metaplasia of the stratified squamous epithelium, elicited by the particular environment of "cyst" and inflammatory reactions. | |||||||
