| 内容記述 | During the period of from April, 1974 to March, 1978, 1952 patients were seen at the Department of Oral Surgery II, Matsumoto Dental College. The patients were increased in number year by year. Their proportions according to the diagnosis were approximately as follows; tooth extraction including impacted and supernumerary, 65%, inflammation 16%, cyst 5%, congenital malformation 3%, tumor 3%, trauma 2%, and others 6%. Of these patients, about 8% were treated in hospitalized. Among them, 31% were inflammation and 23% were malformation, mainly cleft lip and/or palate, which may indicate some characteristics of our department. Although efforts had been made in the manners of clinical training of the students and in increasing the patients, the numbers of them were not sufficient enough. Some of the interested cases were described in detail. | |||||||
