| 内容記述 | The specimens examined were edentulous mandibles having varied absorption of the alveolar bone. After the specimens were cut down to serial slices,the width of their compact bone was measured. The relationship between the width of the compact bone and the design for the subperiosteal implant could be derived as follows. On the labial side, the parts surrounded by the mental foramen, the mental tubercle and the oblique line did not show any changes in thickness. On the lingual side, the parts surrounded by the mental spine, mylohyoid line and the lingual border of retromolar triangle did not also show changes in thickness. Therefore, it was recommended that the frame of the subperiosteal implant should be set on these areas. | |||||||
