内容記述 | As the first step, California Psychological Inventory (CPI) was practiced on the students of the Dental Hygienist and Technician School. This was done as the occupation requires good human relationships and also as it often demands a trustworthy character. The matter of what test to apply as a character test is still in dispute, but in this case the CPI was adopted. The testees were students of Matsumoto Dental College, Dental Hygienist and Technician School. Details are as follows: Dental Hygienist Class 1st grade 35 2nd grade 29 Dental Technician Class 1st grade 22 2nd grade 23 Teaching Staff 11 Total 120 The test was practiced simultaneously and took one hour. Method: There were 480 items on the question card and testees were asked to answer yes or no on answer sheets. The items were divided into 4 groups, 18 standards and these combined totally, showed the testees' attitude and conduct tendency in human relationship. The 4 groups survey the following items: Group 1 psychological stability, superiority, degree of selfreliance; Group 2 sociality, maturity, degree of responsibility; Group 3 achievement ability, intelectual ability; Group 4 intelectual pattern, interest pattern. Grading method: There was a grading sheet for each of the 18 standards. Each grading sheet was placed upon the answer sheet and the number of answers that fit into the grading sheet were written into grade list in each standard. These were separated into men and women profile sheets and each were converted into the grades of 18 standards according to the grade conversion table. The grades of each individual were made into graphs. Using the standards of these graphs as a basis, the characteristics of each individual's conduct were surveyed according to the CPI 18 standards of the character tendency list and from here, the individual's total character was imagined. The x^^- (average), σ (standard deviation) and C (coefficient of variation) of the class were statistically found out. Design: In the results of Hygienist Class 2nd Grade, Flexibility (Fx) was the highest, followed by Socialization (So), Good Impression (Gi), Self-control (Sc), Achievement via Independence (Ai), Feminity (Fe), Communality (Cm) showed the lowest value, followed by Capacity for Status (Cs), Achievement via Conformance (Ac). As for Hygienist Class 1st Grade, Fx was highest, followed by So, Ai, Fe, Cm was the lowest followed by Cs, Dominance (Do), Ac. In the case of Technician Class 2nd Grade, Fx was highest, followed by Fe, Gi. Cm was the lowest, followed by Sense of Well Being (Wb), Responsibility (Re), Cs. As in Technician Class 1st Grade, Fx was highest followed by Fe. Wb was lowest followed by Re, Intellectual Efficiency (Ie), Ac, Do, Cs. The Teaching Staff Men showed high values in Gi, Do, Psychological-mindeness (Py), low values in Cm and Re. Teaching Staff Women showed high values in Fx, Ai, So, Py and low values in Wb, Cm. Altogether the Teaching Staff showed higher values than the students.The Teaching Staff possess a sensitive observation ability which students lack, and their characteristic is that they are sensitive in perceiving the feelings and inner desire of others. Taking a perspective view, Fx showed high values and Cm low values. This indicates that they have a sheet insight, are self-confident, have humor, and are comparatively interested in individual passtimes and diversions. They have a tendency to be a little egoistic and arbitrary, are crafty to other, possess inner frustration, and their ideas are customary conventional and their vision a little limited. As for responsibility, diligence, honesty, sincerity, Hygienist Class and Teaching Staff showed higher values. | |||||||
