| 内容記述 | This report is based on observations during my visit to Okinawa Prefecture from June 9 to June 15, 1980. I was engaged in the instruction of the dental treatment for the severely handicapped patients, in response to the request by the Welfare Ministry. Dental treatment for the severely handicapped patients has always been very defficult. But recently, by using general anesthesia it has been able to give them adequate dental treatment. The Okinawa Dental Association started the project of the intensive dental treatment for such patients under general anesthesia with support and cooperation of Okinawa Prefecture, the Welfere Ministry, and the Japanese Dental Society of Anesthe-siology. | |||||||
