| 内容記述 | Thomas Bartholin revised his father's anatomical treatise "Anatomicae Institiones" , it was called "Anatomia Reformata" which was used widely as typical textbook of anatomy in Europe during 17th century. Recently, as it was reproduced in Japan, the anthor translated into Japanese about chapters of maxillary bone and teeth in "Anatomia reformata". In views of these chapters, the anthor had a knowledge regarding level of anatomical study on the maxillary bone and teeth in the mid 17th century, especially payed attention to that he quoted from new findings of tooth-growth by famous anatomists Fallopio and Eustachio. | |||||||
