内容記述 | The relations among the microstructure to mechanical properties and the effects of the mould temperature and the sprue diameters to the casting defects had been studied on Co-Cr-Ni system alloy prepared with various casting conditons and cooling methods. They were molten at 1450℃ or 1500℃ and cast into the moulds heated at 500℃, 700℃, 900℃ or at room temperature. Moulds containing the castings were cooled to room temperature by the following 4 methods; 1) put on the bench just after the casting, 2) put on the bench after kept in the furnace at each mould temperature for 2 hours, 3) kept in furnace till getting room temperature in order to cool slowly or 4) quenched into the water. Results were as follows ; 1) Increased mould temperature made to decrease the hardness of the castings, but the casting temperature of molten metal was unaffected to the hardness. 2) High temperature mould increased the hardness of the castings cooled in the furnace. 3) The hardness of the castings quenched into the water was resembled to that of colling on the bench to room temperature. 4) Tensile and yield strength of these alloys were increased, when they were cast in to room temperature mould. 5) The maximum elongation was obtained in the spesimens cast into moulds at room temperature, and the minimum one was obtained in them cooled in the furnace. 6) On the microstructure grain growth was prominent in the specimens prepared with high temperature moulds. Most precipitates were observed in the specimens cooled from 900℃ in the furnace. 7) The increase in diameter of sprue decreased the casting defects. | |||||||
